Meet Arlene

Hi, I’m Arlene Mortley, a licensed aesthetician and the founder of Arlene Antoinette Skincare in Brooklyn, NY. I offer personalized, results-driven skincare treatments and a signature line of medical-grade skincare products designed to elevate skin health.

My passion for skincare started at a young age. I fondly remember watching my mom at her dressing table, applying her “special cream” each night. Growing up in the lush Blue Mountains of St. Andrew, Jamaica—where healthy skin was a cherished tradition among the women in my family—this early fascination blossomed into a lifelong calling.

Today, I hold a diploma in Aesthetics from The Christine Valmy International School and am a Licensed aesthetician, a certified medical aesthetician with advanced expertise in skin biology, chemical peels, lasers, microneedling, and anti-aging treatments. While I treat a variety of skin types and tones, my journey revealed a significant gap in the skincare industry: the need for tailored solutions for melanin-rich skin. This discovery inspired me to specialize in this area, as treatments for darker skin tones often require a more nuanced, customized approach. I’m passionate about educating and empowering individuals with melanin-rich complexions, providing safe and effective treatments that respect and enhance their natural beauty.

In addition to this, one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work is offering spa treatments to individuals undergoing or recovering from cancer. As an Oncology-Trained professional through Oncology Esthetics™ facilitated by Touch for Cancer, I take pride in creating safe, comforting, and deeply personal experiences for my clients, bringing joy and care to those who need it most.
